The Reason the Villain Covets Me (ongoing)

Annette, possessed by a person from another world, is framed for murder and left to rot in an asylum. Her only visitor is Theodore, the 'mad villain' of the story, who offers a deal: 'Make me emperor, and I'll show you the way home.' Theodore is the one who brought her to this world, and now he wants to use her as a tool. Annette agrees to survive, but the more she helps him ascend the throne, the more she realizes that his desire for her might be more dangerous than the world she's trying to escape.
